Easton's U11 Summer team saw their season come to an end after a tough 8-4 loss to cross-town rival Redding on Friday night in the semi-finals of the U11 Xtreme League playoffs.

The loss concludes a packed summer season that saw the team play 25 games over a 2 month period starting with the Memorial Day Tournament, followed by the Al Leonard Tournament, and finally the Cal Ripken Xtreme Summer League and playoffs. After a slow start, the team turned it on mid-season and compiled an impressive 10-8 record in the Xtreme league, falling one game short of the Finals.

Manager Bill Bardani along with Ass't Coaches Bob Kelly, JD Fazio, and Joe Opalinski were proud of the commitment shown by each of the players throughout the summer season, which was reflected in their game by game improvement as the season progressed. Special thanks to all the parents, who supported the team through many hot games all summer including numerous doubleheader Saturdays.

Congrats to the following U11 team members on a successful summer: Miles Opalinksi, Blake Baksay, Noah Capetanakis, Edward Fusco, Aidan Simonson, Ryan Hicks, Owen Demilio, Jaxson Fazio, Luke Mutuski, James Pereira, Billy Bardani, Liam Kelly, and TJ Baer.
